Municipal administration
In November 1999 Fjölís and the City of Reykjavík signed an agreement on photocopying by the municipal administration and institutions falling under the responsibility of the City. The agreement is comparable to the agreement with the central government administration. Furthermore, the City of Reykjavík agreed to pay a fixed amount (equivalent to two years fees) to cover copying prior to the agreement.
Fjölís has now concluded agreements with over twenty local authorities based on a framework agreement which Fjölís and The Association of Icelandic Municipalities concluded in 2003 and the Association recommended to the authorities. Negotiations with other authorities are in progress.
